Course Information

Introduction

Global Supply Chain Management enables organisations to source materials, manufacture products, and deliver services efficiently across international markets. Effective supply chain management improves operational performance by coordinating procurement, logistics, inventory, production, distribution, and supplier relationships while managing the risks associated with global trade and changing market conditions.

This five-day course provides practical knowledge of global supply chain planning, international logistics, supplier management, inventory optimisation, and risk management. Participants will apply industry best practices through case studies and practical exercises to improve supply chain performance, resilience, and strategic decision-making in multinational organisations.

Objectives

1. Understand the principles of global supply chain management and their impact on organisational performance.
2. Develop integrated supply chain strategies covering procurement, production, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
3. Evaluate supplier performance and strengthen international supplier relationship management practices.
4. Identify global supply chain risks and implement practical mitigation, continuity, and resilience strategies.
5. Monitor supply chain performance using key performance indicators, dashboards, and continuous improvement techniques.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

Please Note:
- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
- Coffee and refreshments are available on a floating basis throughout the morning. Participants may help themselves at their convenience to ensure an uninterrupted learning experience Provided if applicable and subject to course delivery arrangements.
